I’m Walking This Path With You.
I write, guide, and coach women who, like me, want to get more out of the aging process and are not yet ready to settle into the rocker.
I was born and raised in Norway, a country consistently ranked among the world's happiest places. That early foundation shaped how I view aging, wellbeing, and purpose—not as something to fear, but something to cultivate.
With my background in nursing, my meditation practice, and a lifelong desire to help others, I’ve come to believe something deeply important:
Every human being has a unique ability—something distinctive and valuable to offer the world.
My work is devoted to helping women celebrate their age, strengthen their cardiovascular health, and move intentionally toward their own North Star.
At age 72, I developed the strength and confidence to start my own business.
I plan to live to 113, long enough to see my youngest grandchild turn 50. Not because longevity is a number, but because life is meant to be lived with intention, vitality, and meaning.
Northbound Spry was created from lived experience, not theory, and mindfully designed to support women who want health that serves their purpose, not the other way around.
The image on the right is me in 2019 at age 69 with a big smile and a big Triathlon medal.
I believe health is not about chasing youth, it’s about preserving possibility.
Through Northbound Spry, I help women:
Protect and improve cardiovascular health
Strengthen body confidence and self-trust
Align daily habits with long-term purpose
Move toward the life they still want to live
This is Purpose-Driven Health and Success—where longevity, meaning, and joy are deeply connected.
Mostly, I want to help prevent suffering and premature death from cardiovascular disease.
But just as importantly, I want women to experience their own magic.
To feel alive in their bodies.
To trust themselves again.
To know that aging can be a powerful, creative chapter—not a quiet closing act.
You are not behind.
You are not done.
And your North Star is still calling.
If you feel that quiet pull toward more, I’d love to walk with you.
